Vida
“Vida” is the Portuguese word that stands for “life”, the focus of this project was on creating custom burial ceremonies that reflected the life of the person who passed way. Death is still very taboo in our societies, and we see that in the way we deal with it. On our final goodbye we focus on the death of our loved on instead of the wondrous life the lead and joyous moments we shared.
Driving values - What moves us?
People oriented, individual valuing and life focused. These core pillars were the guiding values throughout the development of this project.
The problem – what drove us to create a solution.
The issue we observed in the burial market was standardized solutions and packages, sure you cant pick different material and colors but you are always getting the same procedure.
The Solution.
Our goal is to develop enriching experience, akin to the life that the person lead. The product consists of 3 customizable plans that focused on location. Mountain, forest and sea. This would the final resting place, somewhere calm and connect to nature, the returning home moment.
